At the start of a Play, the Player is presented with the following six MONOPOLY playing pieces: a car, a dog, a boot, a hat, an iron and a ship. Below these is the instruction: 'Choose your playing piece'. To commence a Play, the Player must position his curser over one of the aforementioned playing pieces and click.
Once the playing piece has been selected, the Player is then presented with a Game Play Window displaying; a) a visual representation of the MONOPOLY board (the 'Board') with the Players chosen playing piece positioned on the 'GO' square; b) in the centre of the MONOPOLY board there are the Chance cards, Community Chest cards and two dice which will be pulsing to prompt the Player to click these; c) to the bottom left of the Game Play Window are eight different sets of properties that are representations of those on the board and to the right of each set is a monetary amount (the 'Prize Table'); d) to the right of the Prize Table is an empty box labelled 'Instant Prizes' (the 'Instant Prize Area'); e) to the right of the Instant Prize Area is the following instruction: 'Collect money paid to the bank by landing on Free Parking' (the 'Free Parking Instruction'); f) above the Free Parking Instruction are the words '10 Rolls left' (the 'Rolls Left Indicator') and g) to the bottom right of the Game Play Window is the following instruction card: 'Collect a set of properties to win the prize for that set. Click the dice to play.'To commence a Play, the Player must position his curser over the dice, which will rise off the Board, and click. On doing so the dice will rise into the air, spin and land back onto the Board before tilting the dice so the player can count down the pips. The chosen Playing Piece will then move across the board, the number that is shown on the highlighted area of the dice and at the same time the pips on the dice will turn red as the counter moves past each square and the Rolls Left Indicator will reduce by 1. The dice will then rest back on the board in its original position. On landing on a particular square one of the following will happen:
On landing on a property square, the property will zoom into the foreground and be wrapped by a sold banner before moving into the Prize Table and populating one of that property set. A sold sign will then appear on the square the Player landed on to indicate that that property has been collected. If the Player collects all the properties in a set, the row of that set in the Prize Table will highlight gold and the prize will change colour to indicate that the Player has won this amount.
On landing on a Community Chest/Chance square, the associated card will lift off the top of the pile on the board and zoom into the foreground. The card will instruct the player of one of the following:
a) The card will instruct the Player that he is to 'Advance' or 'Go Back' to another square. The card will then disappear and the playing piece will rise off the Board and move to that square.
b) The card will instruct the player that he has won an Instant Prize. The card will then disappear and the amount won will appear on a gold background in the Instant Prize Area, indicating to the Player that he has won this amount.
c) The card will instruct the Player that he is to pay a sum of money. The card will then disappear and a MONOPOLY monetary note will then appear to the bottom of the Game Play Window and move to the Free Parking Instruction replacing the instruction with the following: 'Land on FREE PARKING to win'. At the same time an extra instruction will replace the main instruction informing the Player of the amount added to the Free Parking fund, detailing that he must land on Free Parking to win this prize. The Continue button will flash to indicate to the player that he needs to click this to continue the game. When the player clicks continue, the new instruction disappears leaving the main instruction behind.
On landing on the Free Parking, if there is a MONOPOLY monetary note in the Free Parking Instruction, it will then be surrounded by a gold highlight, indicating to the Player that he has won this amount.
On landing on the 'JUST VISITING' square, the Player is presented with the 'Jail Mini Game'. A new Game Play Window will open showing a locked door and three different keys on a table. To the top right of the Game Play Window the instruction is as follows: 'Choose one of the three keys. If your key opens the prison door, you'll collect the BONUS behind it.' To commence a Play of this Mini Game, the Player must position his curser over one of the three keys and click. On doing so the key will move to unlock the door and one of the following will happen:
a) The key does not open the door and a message will zoom to the forefront of the Game Play Window saying: 'Better luck next time'. The Player is then taken back to the main Board.
b) The key opens the door and a message will zoom to the forefront of the Game Play Window instructing the Player that he is to 'Advance' or 'Go Back' to another square on the main Board. The Player is then taken back to the main Board and the playing piece will rise off the Board and move to that square.
c) The key opens the door and a message will zoom to the forefront of the Game Play Window instructing the Player that he has won an Instant Prize. The Player is then taken back to the main Board and the amount won will appear on a gold background in the Instant Prize Area, indicating to the Player that he has won this amount.
d) The key opens the door and a message will zoom to the forefront of the Game Play Window instructing the Player that he has received an Extra Roll of the dice. The Player is then taken back to the main Board where an Extra Roll token will zoom into the foreground and move to the Rolls Left indicator. Also, the main instruction is replaced with the following: 'You've won an extra roll.' When the player clicks on the dice, the Extra Roll token and the new instruction disappears leaving the main instruction behind.
On Landing on the 'GO TO JAIL' square, the Playing Piece lifts off the square and moves to the 'IN JAIL/JUST VISITING' square, where the player is presented with the 'Jail Mini Game' as above.
On landing on the 'GO' square, the Player is presented with the 'Go Mini Game'. A new Game Play Window will open showing 9 cards on a table and a MONOPOLY hotel. To the bottom of the Game Play Window the instruction is as follows: 'Choose SIX cards. If you reveal FOUR houses you'll collect the BONUS revealed in the hotel.' To commence a Play of this Mini Game, the Player must position his curser over one of the cards and click. On doing so the card will flip and either show a house or be blank. On choosing six cards, one of the following will happen:
a) The Player does not reveal four houses and a message will drop down from the top of the Game Play Window saying: 'Better luck next time'. The Player is then taken back to the main Board.
b) The Player reveals four houses and the Hotel roof will open and out of it a message will zoom to the forefront the Game Play Window instructing the Player that he is to advance to another square on the main Board. The Player is then taken back to the main Board and the playing piece will rise off the Board and move to that square.
c) The Player reveals four houses and a message will zoom to the forefront the Game Play Window instructing the Player that he has won an Instant Prize. The Player is then taken back to the main Board and the amount won will appear on a gold background in the Instant Prize Area, indicating to the Player that he has won this amount.
d) The Player reveals four houses and a message will zoom to the forefront the Game Play Window instructing the Player that he has received an Extra Roll of the dice. The Player is then taken back to the main Board where an 'Extra Roll' token will zoom into the foreground and move to the Rolls Left Indicator. Also, the main instruction is replaced with the following: 'You've won an extra roll.' When the player clicks on the dice, the 'Extra Roll' token and the new instruction disappears leaving the main instruction behind.
During a Play of this game if the Player rolls a double, an 'Extra Roll' token will zoom into the foreground and move the Goes Left Indicator. Also, the main instruction is replaced with the following: 'You've rolled a double and gained an extra roll.' When the player clicks on the dice, the Extra Roll token and the new instruction disappears leaving the main instruction behind.
When the Player's Play ends a message will appear to the bottom right of the Game Play Window informing the Player of the total amount they have won, if any (including any Instant Prize amounts, Free Parking amounts and any amounts won in the Prize Table) and instructing the Player to 'Click 'Finish' to complete the game.'

Play Style, Play Symbols and determining a Valid Winning Play for MONOPOLY 3D
A Play Number is allocated to each Play, which can be found at the top right of the Game Play Window.
