At the start of a Play, the Player is presented with a Game Play Window displaying the following instruction: 'Collect 3 matching jewels in the baskets or get 3 matching jewels along a beam or row to win a prize.' Underneath this instruction is a 'START GAME' button which flashes to indicate to the Player that he must use his mouse and click it in order to start the game.

When the Player clicks 'START GAME', he will be presented with a miner (the 'Miner') in a mining cart (the 'Cart'). On the front of the Cart, there are four coloured baskets: Blue, Red, Yellow and Green (the 'Coloured Baskets'), each with an associated monetary amount displayed above it (the 'Prizes'). The following instruction is also displayed above the Coloured Baskets: 'Collect 3 matching jewels to win.' To the left of the Cart is a basket with an 'INSTANT PRIZE' sign above it (the 'Instant Prize Basket').

Above the Miner there is a 3x3 grid of claws (the 'Grid'). Each of the claws in the Grid contain one of the following items: a green, yellow, red or blue jewel (the 'Jewels'); a Mini Game Symbol; a monetary amount (the 'Instant Prize'); or an Extra Spin Symbol. To the left of the Grid the three rows are labeled ROW A, ROW B and ROW C (the 'Rows'). Each Row has three circular holding areas which display where a Row has two or more like Jewels (the 'Row Indicator'); and an associated monetary amount (the 'Prizes'). At the top of the Grid, above each of the beams are the labels: BEAM 1, BEAM 2 and BEAM 3 (the 'Beams'). Each Beam has three circular holding areas which display where a Beam has two or more like Jewels (the 'Beam Indicator'); and a monetary amount (the 'Prizes'). The following instruction is also displayed above the Beams: Get 3 matching jewels along a BEAM or ROW to win.'

To the bottom right of the Game Play Window there are two dials; one displaying the letters A, B and C and the other displaying the numbers 1, 2 and 3 (the 'Dials'). Underneath the Dials there is a 'SPIN' button, to the left of which is a circle displaying the number of spins left (the 'Spins Left Indicator').

To commence a Play, the Player must use his mouse to position his cursor on the SPIN button and click. When the player has clicked the SPIN button, it will dim down and when the players go has been taken, the SPIN button will highlight to indicate that it is clickable again.

On clicking the SPIN button the following will happen:

- The dials will spin and land on one of the letters and numbers indicating the Coordinate on the Grid the Miner is to collect an item from.

- At the same time the item, where the two co-ordinates intersect on the Grid will be highlighted.

- The Spins Left Indicator will reduce by one.

Upon collecting an item from the Grid, the following will happen:

1) If the co-ordinates land on one of the Jewels, the Miner will collect the Jewel and place it in the appropriate Coloured Basket at the front of the Cart. If the Miner collects three of the same coloured Jewels in a Basket, the Jewels and the Prize above it will highlight to indicate that the Player has won that amount.

2) If the co-ordinates land on an Extra Spin Symbol, the Miner will collect the symbol and hold it until the Player clicks the SPIN button again. The Spins Left Indicator, dials and SPIN button will turn blue to indicate that the Player has an Extra Spin. On the use of the Extra Spin, the Extra Spin Symbol will zoom into the foreground and disappear, at the same time the Spins Left Indicator, dials and SPIN button will change back to their normal colour.

If the Player matches one of the revealed Your Symbols with either Winning Symbol they will collect this item. Once an item has been collected from the Grid, the empty claw, plus any claws behind it, will be replaced from the front with new items on the Beam. When the items have been replaced in the Grid, if the Grid displays three like Jewels in either a Beam or a Row, the corresponding Beam/Row Indicator and associated Prize for that Row/Beam will then highlight to indicate that the Player has won that amount.

A Player's Play ends, when he has exhausted all of his spins and a message will appear to the right of the Game Play Window informing the Player of the amount he has won, if any.
