piggy bank game at the national lottery

National Lottery

Piggy Bank

At the start of a Play, the Player is presented with a Game Play Window displaying a bank scene with six white podiums; on top of each podium is a Piggy Bank and directly underneath each Piggy Bank, there is a PRIZE motif (the 'Prizes'). To the bottom of the Game Play Window, underneath the six Piggy Banks, there is a 'YOUR SYMBOLS' label. To the left of the piggy banks there is a large piggy character (the 'Piggy Banker') and to the top of the game play window, there is a teller booth labelled 'WINNING SYMBOL' and a pound note motif within the window with a question mark ('?') on it.

To the left of the teller booth the instruction is as follows: 'Choose 4 Piggy Banks to reveal YOUR SYMBOLS. Match any of YOUR SYMBOLS to the WINNING SYMBOL to win PRIZE.'

To commence a Play, the Player must use his mouse to position his cursor on any of the four Piggy Banks, Prizes or the pound note motif and click. If after a period of time the Player is inactive, the sound of rattling coins will be heard and the clickable symbols will pulse to indicate to the Player that he must click on them to continue the game.

When the player clicks on any of the Piggy Banks, the coin hole in the top of the Piggy Bank will widen, a symbol will pop out, increase in size and land on the podium in place of the Piggy Bank. The symbol revealed will be one of the following: Diamond; Coins; Wad of Cash; Gold Bar; Money Bag; Cheque Book; Wallet; Safe or a Key (the 'Symbols'). When the Player clicks any of the Prizes it will reveal a cash amount. When the Player clicks on the pound note motif, the pound note motif disappears out the back of the teller booth and is replaced with one of the aforementioned symbols.

Once the Player has clicked on any four of the Piggy Banks or four Prizes, the remaining two Piggy Banks and Prizes will fade to indicate that these can no longer be selected by the Player.

A Player's Play ends when he has clicked on his four chosen Piggy Banks, their associated Prizes and the WINNING SYMBOL.

If the Player matches any of YOUR SYMBOLS to the WINNING SYMBOL, both the WINNING SYMBOL and the YOUR SYMBOL matched to it will have a star highlight behind them and the associated Prize will enlarge and change colour to indicate that the Player has won that amount. A message will then appear to the top of the Game Play Window, where the Instruction once was, informing the Player of the total amount he has won, if any.

The Player of a Play of this Game having matched one of 'YOUR SYMBOLS' to the 'WINNING SYMBOL', shall, subject to the Rules, be entitled to win the Prize(s) revealed directly beneath the matching Symbol.
